Default Oro Farming Question

I haven't done any Oro farming yet, but I've finished Orozar's first quest (Noble Intentions) on my own, and I have a few questions. There are people who go Oro farming over and over, how is this possible though? I thought after a quest is finished you can't take it again. Can you take his quests multiple times or something, to make sure you run into the same group of bosses every time? Or is Oro farming just a one-time opportunity? Sorry if I sound a bit newbish, I just want to make sure before I start Oro farming.

Let me clear this up for you if I can. When you go "Oro farming", you aren't actually farming the quest right away. All the quest does is open all the doors that allow you to get to the bosses. Eventually the standard route for the farm takes you back to Oro, and you do the first part of the quest before leaving him (he'll just kind of stand there), then the very last part of it to get all the bosses.

I think I get it, but let's say you've already done his quests, or his first, are you still able to do the traditional farming route?

As long as someone in your party has it, yes.

Basically, you don't ever finish the quest if you farm Oro. Like Slayermann said, if someone in your party has it still, you're fine, but it's usually good to not finish it if you want to farm it.

Actually, the quest is repeatable as are all of the Sorrow's Furnace quests.

Therefore you can complete the oro quest as many times as you want. But, the objective when oro farming isn't to complete the quest, though it does happen from time to time. The objective is to kill the bosses that correlate to the quest. Incidentally, you can go questless and kill about just as many bosses.

with oro quest total bosses: ~12 (including the one in the "forest" where the dredges are).

questless: ~10 bosses (including the one in the "forest" where the dredges are).

FA farming: ~ 7 bosses - i think, it's been a while.

Only problem about Oro fariming nowadays is that when you trigger the quest, and talk to orozar in the main chamber, due to no gear trick, coupled with lack of aggro skills, everyone dies. Therefroe the run translates into ~ 6-7 bosses which is sad.

Thanks for the replies everyone, but ender6, isn't it true that some bosses only appear during certain quests?

So if I were to try and say, battle Rago Kindlerock, I'd have to go on a quest run? Also, I've finished Noble Intentions, but haven't done Noble Intentions Plan B yet. I assume that if I'd go back in SF on my own, I can't battle those waves of Stone Summit and protect Orozar anymore, can I?

Yes, in order to see all the oro farm bosses, you would need the oro quest when you go farming, but acording to ender6, MOST of the bosses will apear if you go into sorrows furnace with no quest.

People are still oro farming even tho mm was completly changed? How? I would like to oro farm again! unfortunatly, last time i went to the place, (its been so long now i forgot the name of the place you go to get a oro farm group. >.< At least I know where it is on the map. ) there was only 1 district and like 3 people in it. None of them were farming. THen again that was right after factions came out...

Anyway, wat people are in the groups now? If i remember right, b4 factions, it was a MM, a SS, a bonder, a healer, and a tank. Is that still the group or has it changed? If it changed, can u also post the skills needed so I can farm it again? O and if there is still a bonder (i bet there is) can u also post wat skills are needed for that too? I've always wondered wat skills they used... I never had a monk untill factions, so i never bothered to find out.
